So I’m really looking forward to how RC Lewis incorporates it into her story! ![]() It’s not one of the more popular fairy tale retellings, and as far as I know there aren’t any other YA books that have used it as its basis. In Spinning Starlight though, we’re introduced to a totally new world and new characters in a retelling of The Wild Swans. ![]() Trust me.) Honestly I thought it was a little underrated. (Sounds like Cinder, I know, but they’re totally different. I absolutely loved RC Lewis’s first book, Stitching Snow, which was a retelling of Snow White in space. This week I am waiting on Spinning Starlight by RC Lewis, which comes out October 6, 2015. “Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event created by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating. ![]()
